Nicki’s career of helping others began in the non-profit field helping individuals at risk of, or involved with, the criminal justice system. Continuing her professional journey into the health services field in the areas of Indigenous health, and addictions and mental health, Nicki has always maintained a fierce passion for advocating and supporting those most in need. She believes in establishing a respectful relationship with clients, rooted in empathy, connection, and understanding.

Over her career, Tara has worked with youth, individuals and families on challenges with unhealthy thinking and behaviors, addictions to substances, psychosis, relationships, and regulating emotions.
