Tara is passionate about improving the well being and quality of life of those she is supporting. She will compassionately and wholeheartedly listen to the challenges that are preventing you from living your preferred life. Over her career, Tara has worked with youth, individuals and families on challenges with unhealthy thinking and behaviors, addictions to substances, psychosis, relationships, and regulating emotions. From this experience, Tara is able to use different therapeutic approaches to best meet your needs. Tara believes in empowering clients to ultimately reach their potential. Tara has a Masters of Arts in Counselling Psychology degree from Yorkville University. She enjoys spending time with her pets, reading, and being with family.

Nicki’s career of helping others began in the non-profit field helping individuals at risk of, or involved with, the criminal justice system. Continuing her professional journey into the health services field in the areas of Indigenous health, and addictions and mental health, Nicki has always maintained a fierce passion for advocating and supporting those most in need. She believes in establishing a respectful relationship with clients, rooted in empathy, connection, and understanding.

Nicki is a Registered Provisional Psychologist. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree, and a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology (MACP) through Yorkville University.

Najwa is a therapist located in Calgary/Cochrane who specializes in the assessment and treatment of children, adolescents, and their families. She is certified in offering Dialectical Behaviour Skills Training and facilitates adolescent dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT) groups, and Circle of Security Caregivers groups.

She provides treatment to adults, children and adolescents struggling with a variety of mental health challenges including those related to anxiety, mood, social and behavioral, OCD, PTSD, relationships, learning related challenges, and grief and loss.

Debra incorporates several psychotherapeutic modalities into her practice and has the required training for many different approaches. Louise is a registered Occupational Therapist (OT) in Alberta with 19 years of experience. Occupational therapy focuses on both physical and mental health. OTs serve people with injury, illness, disability or psychological dysfunction and work to improve their clients’ capacity to participate in meaningful daily activities. Whether it’s personal hygiene and care, driving, working, leisure or learning, OTs help people with the skills required for the “job of living” within their community or chosen environment.

Amanda tailors her approach to fit the particular needs of the client, which change as the client grows. She offers insight and guidance while helping clients articulate and work toward achieving their own goals. In her practice, she aims to strike a balance between showing kindness, understanding, and compassion, alongside the values of truth, integrity, and genuineness.

Amanda’s past work experience includes group and individual counselling of children, youth, and young adults, and conducting psychological assessments for students from preschool to university. Over the years, Amanda has worked alongside many professionals in mental health, and she appreciates learning from, and collaborating with, her colleagues and mentors.

Amanda is a registered psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists. Amanda earned her doctoral degree in Psychology at Brock University in Ontario, with a specialization in developmental psychology.
